USDA SFH refinance pilot program?
Has anyone heard of this program? We got a letter in the mail today about it. It says we could get at least 1% off our interest rate and the opportunity to skip two payments. It is ran through Trust Company Bank. It sounds great, so that makes me think it might not be true. I'm calling on Monday to get details, but I just wanted to know if anyone knew anything about it.

Can you GOOGLE it and try to find an independent source not tied into this program that has info or reviews of it? It might be another way to learn about it in addition to calling.
I'm pretty sure the USDA loans are specifically for rural areas or areas that are deemed rural by the USDA.
