What are your Memorial Day plans?
Our weekend is kind of a bust because DH's cousin is getting married that Saturday and we have other un-fun stuff to do that weekend. What about you? Any great plans? Share your menus if you're hosting!
PS - I'm posting here instead of the proboards since I love the group we had over here and we get lost in the shuffle over there.

We have absolutely no great plans at all. I proclaimed to the fam yesterday that since we have no plans, the goal will be that our yard is completely ready for the summer, since it is not as of today. We will be moving the fire pit, setting up a canopy, etc. We are sooo behind the 8 ball on this one.
I miss everyone that went to the proboards. The what's cooking board is just hollow now.

Am not hosting Memorial Day - but am in "Guest" mode. Have been asked to make cookies and need a good "kid-frienly" one. Will probably make Chocolate Chips... so funny I usually get asked to bring salad...

Looking forward to hosting my husband's family this year for the first official BBQ of summer. There will be about 15 of us, and since my husband has work on Monday, we are having everyone over Sunday afternoon.
I'm only making the items that I linked up to recipes (and the dip, but that hardly needs a recipe). Another SIL is bringing something too, but she hasn't decided on an app or dessert. I'm probably going to end up making a white sangria, to go along with the 30-pack of beer and 2 lg bottles of wine.
You have got to love summer BBQs - so much easier than a winter dinner!
