Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Using the same cover letter for two different positions?

If I am applying for two similar positions at the same institution, should I use two different cover letters or is it OK to use the same cover letter with the specifics altered to match the different positions? I have what I think is a very strong base cover letter that I use for job applications, one that highlights my skills and accomplishments, and it seems a little like reinventing the wheel to need two different letters for what is exactly the same job with slight responsibility differences. Thoughts?
