I saw some friends this weekend who let me know that they know of a job opportunity where they work....(this most possibly could be my dream job...the benefits are CRAZY great!)
Well, I haven't been completely happy at work, but I am not actively looking for a new job.
I am applying for the available position, and I feel like I need to talk to my boss just so she isn't blindsided.
Any advice? Should I talk to her? What should I say? TIA!
Re: Possible Job Opportunity
I don't think you should bring it up with your boss. It's not 100% that you'd get it and if it didn't pull through it could cause some tension at work. That's what giving notice is for...you'll give them enough heads up to advertise your position and for you to tie up any loose ends.?
Good luck! What kind of job is it??
I absolutely would not say anything until your boss until you know 100% that you are going to take the new job. That could cause all sorts of unnecessary drama, and at the very worst, they could fire you.
What's the job?? It sounds exciting!
