Re: b&m monday
DH built me some great raised garden beds for my veggie garden this year. We also ordered soil, so we put that in there a couple of weeks ago. Yesterday as I was getting ready to plant most of my veggies (and did plant a couple) I just randomly decided to ask, "this isn't pressure treated wood, right?". DH's response, um, of course it is, it's outside why wouldn't I have used pressure treated. Awesome, chemicals leaching into the soil that our FOOD will be in is just great. I googled it of course, and most things said it's safe, but a lot also said that it's probably smart to line the wood with plastic, even the manufacturer of the wood we have said that. So today we get to figure out how to do that, which means moving soil and some plants. And of course the soil has already been in them for probably 2 weeks (maybe just one week) so that's just great.
Plus, it's Monday. Enough said.
Tara - that sucks. Pink eye is no fun.
Lindsay - you have my T&P's for a speedy recovery and not needing a cast. I can't imagine what it would be like taking care of a toddler with your leg in an immobilizer.
Krissy - poor miss Maggie can't seem to catch a break.
I actually don't really have anything to B&M about. DH got done his meetings early so he came home last night and we get the day together today, my parents are in town because my sister's baby is due any second and it's a beautiful day. Life is good
I have the world's worst in laws. They literally suck!
Lucas decided to play a trick on me today. My Sister called and he was screaming his heart out. I had never heard him scream like that before and I freaked out. My boss heard him over the phone and let me leave work immediately. I was ready to take him to the dr. But, when I got to my Sister's house he saw me and started smiling and jumping and talking. It was nice to see he just missed me but I hate missing work, especially considering we have an awards assembly on Wednesday that I need to keep preparing for. Little turd!
Ugh, Tara, Lindsay and Krissy- I hope you all and/or your kids feel better soon!

We will be moving again in the next year. Probably to another state. Again. Ugh...
