At what point do I need to call the pedi's office and let them know baby #2 is on the way? Unless she's sick, DD won't have another well child appointment until after the baby is born, so I can't just tell them at her next appointment.
Re: Pedi for baby #2
When I read this title I thought you were asking if you should get a pedicure before baby #2 got here? Or possibly if you should get your new baby a pedicure? I think I need a spa day!
DD didn't go to the doctor until she was two months, so I let them know when she was born. She was born at the Midwife center and her first two visits were with them though.
About a month before, I'd just call and let them know you're having another and see if you need to do anything prior to delivery.
I think that's all I did for DS#2. My office uses the in-hospital ped service anyway for discharge, but since we had DS#2 at the birth center, they just let me know that I needed to schedule a 1 week visit as soon as our second showed-up. I told them about when that might be and that was it.
Are you united with the CCOKCs?
