Hi all (or whoever is left on the old board)!
Looking for recommendations for various types of contractors because we're planning to move into a house that needs some renovation. I'd like to find honest, skilled, bonded and insured people to do:
drywall repair
fine trim carpentry
interior paint
carpeting
hardwood flooring (installation and refinishing)
We're in the Boulder area, but would be interested in any contractors that don't charge extra to do work up here. Thanks in advance!
Re: Contractor recs?
I highly recommend Mile High Remodeling. Chris does a wonderful job!

I don't think they do paint or carpeting but could probably recommend someone for you.
We just had our bathroom redone & are really happy with it. I know he travels to the mountains (from Lakewood) and thinks nothing of going to Westminster.
We ripped out everything and started over. He replaced the tub, fixed/replaced drywall (shower didn't have green board), plumbing, tile in shower & floors, changed electrical, changed texture on walls from a bad orange peel to knock-down. I did the painting, and DH installed the vanity, toilet & did the trim just to save money. I know he would have been happy to do that too, but this was already at the end of our bathroom budget.

Here are some pics of our bathroom:
From THIS (truly gross)
TO THIS: (The ceiling really isn't darker than the walls IRL) (We still need the new shower rod & curtain as you can see too)

Wow, Jes! That's a huge transformation. Very nice.
