Complete Tech-idiot here & I have a question

I've downloaded a song from iTunes to my Mac.  Is there any way to edit the song so that I can cut out 2 small parts which are not appropriate for my 6 year old to hear?  I don't care about making the cuts seemless - he won't notice.

Thanks!

  • There is no easy way to do this if you are a "tech-idiot" like you say.

Try searching for a "edited," "clean," or "radio" version of the song.

  • Audacity is a pretty easy program to pick up and use. I would download that and use that to edit the songs. DRM might make this difficult, but it's worth a shot.
