PSA: Free Online Grocery Shopping at Giant

Just fyi, (the coupon post got me thinking about this) Giant is currently waiving the usual $5 fee to do your grocery shopping online so its FREE!! You can only pick up your groceries at one Philly area location though---Willow Grove

I did ACME online once and it was terrible but I find that ACME is always terrible  so Im not surprised. For example, I selected "1" banana thinking that since they are sold by the pound I would get 1 pound of bananas....nope, I got ONE banana!!!

Ive never tried Giant but Ive heard good things about it from people that have....decent produce and meat selection etc.

I am actually headed to the WG Giant after work so I'd love to hear if anyone has had any positive experiences doing this because my lazy ass loves the idea of this.

you could always order MOST of your groceries and then it would only take you a few minutes to run through and get your produce and meat if youre concerned about some pimply faced apathetic teenager picking out sub par items. And yes, all apathetic teenagers have acne

bwahaha, then that explains my current skin condition, I'm an apathetic teenager, does that mean I can have my firm butt back too?

I really like Giant, in general.

I love the WG store because they have "valet" which is an incredibly helpful service when your kid is in the carseat in the cart and you have no room to load the grocery bags full of stuff you managed to cram into the cart while he slept!

I completely agree. When we first moved to Drexel Hill I didnt realize that there was a Giant nearby in Clifton Heights so I begrudgingly went to ACME for a few months. You should have heard the angels singing on high the day I realized that I could conveniently go to Giant instead.
