Root Touch Up

I'm going to be late for my color appt and cannot keep the gray roots.  Has anyone used the Clairol root touch up, and how long did it last? I saw online it can last up to 3 weeks, but is that the maximum....I really need about 2 weeks to extend my color..... In a quandry! Also, what root touch up product is the best from a drugstore for a temp fix?

It's a great patch to get you thru until your color appointment!  I have used it in a pinch several times and it does the trick.  I'd say it lasts about a week 1/2 - 2 weeks.  Good luck!

Hated it recently. I just mentioned it in my blog yesterday. Won't buy it again.

I really like this product.  The colors really do match well.  I have really dark/black hair so if I don't get the right color you can tell.  I used it between colors about 3 weeks ago and it's still looking good.  It really just depends how fast your hair grows to how long the color lasts.  Mine seems to grow fairly quick so about every three weeks is pretty much on the money for me!

Thanks all. I'm going to give it a shot and really try to pick the right color - I just need those grays to not be gray....lately they are really bugging me and I wlil be itching next time to do this in between (now I just have to wait one more week as a skunk...)
