Where to buy good quality dining room table for 1500?
I am in love with the benchwright fixed pottery barn dining table but with chairs it will be around 2800. Would love to get something of good quality, similar look for around 1500. Any suggestions?

I love this one too.
You could always buy Amish...

I've never done this before, but my parents have with their kitchen table and six chairs as well as an entire bedroom collection. Of course, they live in Ohio and drove to the site of where it was being made. But, it's amazing stuff. Solid. Sturdy. Beautiful. They work in many woods, stains, prices and sizes.
This website is one that popped up when I GOOGLED Amish Furniture. So I have no idea if it is decent or not.
Cost Plus World Market, Pier One or Craigslist. I bought an insanely expensive set and the table is not very sturdy what so ever. Its so beautiful, I can barely imagine replacing it, but if I were to, I'd go with something from World Market or Pier One in a heart beat. My friends who've purchased similar tables there are much more sturdy than mine.
Can you buy the table at PB and get the chairs elsewhere?
I think I got my PB table for $1500 after I found a 10% coupon. I think I bought the coupon off ebay or something, but hey, it got me my table. I had it shipped to store. Not sure if they still do that to avoid the extra furniture shipping fee or not.
