As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Aveda institute?
Anyone been? My mom wants to Get our hair cut/colored here. I'm a little reluctant though. How do they do? Any experiences or ithermrecs for cut/color that doesn't cost a fortune is appreciated! Thanks!

I'll warn you it takes forever but they do a nice job!
I just went to get hair cuts while my friend attended school there and was usually there way over an hour (at first 2-3 hours for just a hair cut!). It got faster the farther along in the program she went, but I was only willing to put that kind of time in on a good friend.
I had a co worker get her hair done about a month ago a cut and color and was there for 7 hours. She got there at 9 am and didn't leave til 4 pm. They offered to bring her in some lunch but still. Gotta factor in how much your time is worth as well in the $$ savings.
