We're going to replace the floor in the living room, and we like the look of hardwood, but we really love the look of a painted white floor (not popular I know). We're open to flooring that doesn't look like wood planks, too. The room is smallish with huge 8' windows so it does have a lot of natural light, but we like the idea that the white floor would open the space up even more. I've seen laminate that looks like paler hardwoods, but I'm looking for pure bright white as if the hardwood has been painted.
Our home was built in 1920, and this room opens to a huge hardwood staircase that is very heavy and ornate dark (almost black) wood, and I love the almost black/white contrast that white flooring would create. With the staircase being a focal point in the house I will appreciate a simpler white look in the living room. I haven't been able to find any options, so if you know where I could find this I would be so happy if you would share. Thanks ladies!
Re: Looking for bright white laminate flooring
What about this, is it white enough? I think it's really pretty.
