As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Land Line Phone?
I'm posting this on MM too.
DH and I use our cells for everything. And, so far, we have always gone without a landline service.
As our kids get older, and might need to dial 911 (hopefully not), does anyone know if a phone line can still dial out 911 even though it would not have a service provider linked to it for local or long distance calling?
Just asking because the service provider we are doing on install with on the 30th for our Internet called and wanted to know about a aclling plan for the land line and I turned them down.
