Anyone doing the 17 Day Diet? Like it? I'm thinking about trying it.

No. Nor will I ever.
Sure, you'll lose weight at first... but can you keep it up for a lifetime? Because the moment you go off of those kinds of strict diets, you gain that weight back (and often wreck your metabolism so you gain more than what you initially had to lose)
What makes you want to try a full-on diet plan, rather than just handling your diet with food logging and better meal choices?

I read excerpts of the book and the diet sounds reasonably balanced. It calls for liberal amounts of lean protein, vegetables, fruits and priobiotics. There isn't really anything "forbidden" except what one shouldn't be eating anyway...junk food, etc.
It really isn't just for 17 days, there are cycles that you rotate through...so not a crash diet.
I know. It's 3 cycles of 17 days.
And then what? What do you plan to do afterward to keep up your weight loss goals? Just stick to this for life or magically have formed good habits?
When you are on a diet plan that is holding your hand rather than teaching you, you are much less likely to stick to you when you're done with it.
If that's all you believe this "diet" is, then why can't you do those things (not eat junk food, eat lean proteins, etc) on your own WITHOUT it?
IT doesn't know YOU. It doesn't know your dietary needs, work out habits, slacker days, etc. There are PLENTY blogs that offer up meal plans for ideas on how to eat better. Have you tried mimicking those sorts of things before you go blow a bunch of money on essentially the same thing?

Today was day one...hard boiled egg, yogurt and diet green tea for breakfast, lots of water, apple for a morning snack. Grilled chicken salad for lunch and yogurt and an orange for an afternoon snack. Turkey burger and salad for dinner. I did/do not feel hungry.
Worked out on elliptical.
On to day 2.
Thanks! Luckily I like chicken, fish and turkey and it can be seasoned a lot of different ways. Having a George Foreman grill is helpful, too : )
