Favorite Spring/Summer Nail Polish Shades
Hi all!
I'm new-ish. I'm engaged (and a semi-active knottie), but have been lurking and replying here and there on F&B. Anyway, I was wondering what summer nail colors you all were looking at. I love my dark, Fall shades, but I'm craving some bright and bold colors this season. I love Essie and OPI, but I don't discriminate when it comes to polish. I love Wet & Wild just as much as I love my Chanel colors! So what's hot this season?
Re: Favorite Spring/Summer Nail Polish Shades
My faves I'm wearing lately are
OPI DS Sapphire
Elixir Lacquers Bad Kitty LE
Cover Bands Sticks 'n Stones over hot pink or light blue
Nfu-oh 63
A England Princess Sabra - Tristam's Eyes
Thank you! These are great suggestions. I especially love the first two and the last one. I'm definitely a fan of sparkle!

I've just started to hear about this. I'm kind of a polish addict and I had no idea there was so much bad stuff in regular nail polish. I'm not sure if the small amount of exposure (comparatively), is really something to worry about. In a way, I think so much of the stuff we're exposed to can cause health problems or lead to cancer that cutting everything out is kind of silly for the small risk most of our daily products (nail polish, shampoo, non-organic food, etc) pose. But I do like the trend from companies like Butter London who offer completely non-toxic nail polish. I just wish it weren't $14 a bottle! Haha! I do think eventually more products will start to offer "non-toxic" versions, which is awesome!
e.l.f. polish also doesn't have the three major offending chemicals, and it's only $2! I just did my nails with Mint Cream and love it.
Ding, ding, ding!!! You just made my day! Thanks for the suggestion. I actually love the e.l.f line. They have pretty good basics for cheap! I had no idea they made nail polish. The $5 3-pack is already in my online cart! Thanks!
I didn't know about e.l.f either, I will be buying some in the next few minutes. Zoya is $6 or $8 a color. As for me, I'm having trouble conceiving a baby so I avoid anything that is scientifically linked to birth defects and miscarriage... But I'm a big hippy when it comes down to it.
