I have a major wolf spider problem in my basement!! It probably wouldnt be so bad if I wasnt completely and utterly petrified of spiders. We have an unfinished basement, and of course we use it for storage, but I cant go down there and look for anything because I feel like I have spiders crawling on me! The walls are concrete, and there are rafter like boards on the ceiling, not finished at all! What is the best way to clean this basement out and get rid of the creepy crawlers once and for all?!!

I GOOGLED. The paragrphs below the intro give ideas. Ick.
We used to have wolf spiders in the area I grew up in, apparently they like mess and dark, so if you keep everything super clean (think sweep the floors walls everything on a reg basis even though its unfinished), and maybe find a small led light that can be left on?
These 2 tricks did help, thankfully I don't have this problem where I live now! But I feel your pain!

Generally these wolf spiders come from all the access points of your home. so If you want them to come into your house you have seal all the access points of your home from inside and outside. remove any vegetation from the exterior of your house, in order to make it as unappealing to the insect-hunting spiders as possible. begin by removing any vegetation from the outside of your home. Hedges, bushes, grass, ivy, or any kind of plant which is hugging the side of your house. This will really help you regarding entry of wolf spiders in your house.
