What kind of line to expect at polls 2morrow?

I have never voted in Florida before so I am just curious.  I will be voting in Orange County on Wetherbee Rd.:)

Thanks

Re: What kind of line to expect at polls 2morrow?

  • I don't think anyone knows! "They"'re saying that it shouldn't be as bad as early voting was, though- which is encouraging to me. DH waited over 4 hours on Saturday to vote. Ugh.
  • DH said that lines were probably bad for early voting because people weren't voting in their precinct...who knows!
  • I went to the YMCA this morning on Red Bug which is a polling place and at 5:10 people were already lining up.

  • The voting locations shown on the local news this morning had relatively short lines. I guess it all depends on where you go!

I'm very glad that DH and I vote by mail. :)

    DITTO! :-)

  • I drove by 5 this morning, including the one where I was supposed to vote. Mine was the only one with a HUGE (as in wrapped around the building) line. I think it just depends. I'll be leaving work early today to go stand in line.
  • I only waited 20-30 minutes.
  • i got there at 645am this morning and was done by 730

  • It took me less than 10 minutes from start to finish! I must admit- I'm impressed with my local election workers- they did a GREAT job at making it all go smoothly. I just hope it's running as smoothly everywhere!
  • I live in Avalon Park and it just took DH and I more than 3 hours to vote. Very long line in our neighborhood....people were lining up well before 7am I heard and those people were just starting to leave when we got there around 930. We didn't get out until 1245. We are absentee voting next time!!

Good luck to anyone else that is going later!!

  • Well I had no wait!!  In and out in 10 minutes!
