Halp! Exterior house color

I have Benjamin Moore swatches, because that's the colors I love for indoors.

The house brick is multi-colored and has purples, blue greys, oranges, reds etc.  all throughout.  The roof is this horrible non matching yellow/orange brown color.

We're having the roughest time getting something that works with the brick and roof.

Any suggestions?  You can see the right side of the trim/stucco we've already been applying paint colors.  From right to left we've got:

Trim - Dash of Pepper

Trim - Original dark brown color

Trim (bottom of second area) - Blue Ridge Mountains (DH hates this says it's too gold, which it is yellow toned, but so is the roof.)

Trim - Alexandria Beige

Everything on the left side is the original colors.  The contrast is too high, and the stucco color has pink undertones.  We hate it.

  • These are some pictures I found of the house on the auditors website.

  • I can't see the second post if photos, but have you thought of stepping away from the brown/white combo?

With the color of your brick, I could see a slate or rich red trim scheme with a complimentary stucco color. A lot of people do a white/blue or sage/dark sage combo, but with your brick I think you have to go bolder and it could look great.

    Just a thought.

  • I haven't thought about going with blue, because of the orangey roof.  I've seen examples of it done with greyish blue trim and black roof.  Looked sharp.
