Robin / fan fiction fans / 50 shades of grey question
I totally admit to reading the fan fiction "The Submissive." But that is NOT the book 50 shades of grey is?! There are so many similarities... I wonder if the submissive writer and the 50 shades author cheated off each other while cheating off of Stephanie Meyer.

It reminded me of that too. Did you read Dom and Training? I need to go back and re-read. I never finished The Training. I thought those were much better than MoTU/50S
eta: I have learned that I prefer a different kind of romance to these stories. I read a FF that had Edward and his family be Amish. One of the best stories. I think there is a lot to be said for the build up. Sure there was some sex and romance but it wasn't ridiculous like the above stories and it was just as sexy to read them holding hands and kissing. That's just me though.
There is a scene in the newer Pride and Prejudice with Keira Knightley and Mr Darcy helps Elizabeth into the coach. OOOH I love that part!
