Critique My 2nd Birthday Picnic Menu

Hi all,

DD is turning 2 on Saturday! we are having a picnic at a park reserve for 15 or so family members.

 My menu is below. Am i missing anything?

Sandwiches- Turkey and Ham (Jimmy John's for those who know them)

Chips

Pasta salad

Pickle, veggie and olive tray

Green salad with chicken for those who are watching their weight!

Watermelon

Birthday cake

 Am i missing anything?

Sorry- just realized i forgot to post drinks. Bottled water, lemonade, iced tea and fruit punch for the kiddos

normally we have to tell people to add something to lighten up the menu...I almost want to suggest you add something heavier...like a hearty dip or meatballs?

I was going to suggest a dip too, but you would probably want one that can sit outside for awhile unless there is a way to keep it cool!

I agree - a dip to go with the chips would be good, something creamy like spinach-artichoke or caramelized onion dip (I have recipes for both in my blog if you are interested!)

 And beer for the adults - that's what's missing    (we also had a picnic at the park for DS's 2nd birthday)

additional finger food for the kids?
