Anyone ever buy clothes from eBay?

I have been looking for a hot pink blazer like this one from Zara everywhere online and have had no luck finding one very similar:

The main thing about it that I like is the bright colour and the fact that the sleeves are white inside.  I would order it from Zara but they don't ship to Canada and there isn't a store anywhere near me.   I decided to check eBay but this is pretty much all I found:

I'm hesitant to order because it's ridiculously cheap which makes it seem fake or stolen or something.  The seller has mainly positive reviews but still.  Does anyone have any advice? Thanks :)

  • I have actually bought several items of clothing from eBay and been pleased overall.  It's luck and generally, if the seller has very positive reviews, you'll be fine.  Is the blazer NWT or pre-owned?  You are always welcome to ask the seller any question prior to buying.

  • I buy a ton of clothes off ebay, and I've never had a bad experience, even buying clothes that are NWOT or lightly used.  I've found the highly rated sellers have always been very good about describing the items really well, and are always quick to answer questions.

The jacket that you're looking at is located in Hong Kong, and it will take a really, really long time to get to you.  Just when you're sure youy got screwed and you'll never get it, it will come a week after you forgot you even bought it.

I try to stay with US sellers, but have purchased a few things from Hong Kong or China.  The items most likely aren't stolen, but they may be knock offs, or they're purchased direct from the manufacturer, and so the cost is super low.

A friend of mine who travels to China says that they have an off the beaten path market of sorts that is full of real name brand clothing and bags that come direct from the manufacturer where you can get clothing and bags unreally cheap.

  • I buy from clothes from eBay quite a bit and for the most part all my experiences have been good. But I typically stay within the US/Canada. However, this seller seems to have pretty good reviews and if I really wanted it, I'd probably go for it.

  • I have bought alot of clothing items from eBay and have never had a problem.  They tend to be cheaper there, but I've never gone on there to buy expensive brands, because the truth is, alot of fakes are out there, and I wouldn't take the chance.  But then again, usually I have one thing in mind and don't necessarily need an expensive brand since it's so easy to find cheaper options!
