Annie or other cake decorators......red buttercream and fondant?
I need to get true red, blue and green buttercream frosting, and wondering how you do it?
Annie, looks like with your sesame street cups you got true colors using buttercream, not icing from a tube, correct?
And I have only found No taste red for coloring. Have not found no taste blue or green......does anyone know if they even exist?
Same with fondant.......how are you ladies getting true colors with homemade fondant. I have never been able to do it.
Thanks ladies!
Re: Annie or other cake decorators......red buttercream and fondant?
I use AmeriColors. They are true color gels that in my opinion are much better than Wilton or any other brand I've come across. They have been the only brand that I've been able to get actual true colors. I've found them online or at candy/baking supply specialty stores.
Thanks ladies. And the Americolor doesn't make the buttercream taste funny?
I am going to order some from Amazon now!
I've never had any issue with taste!
