Anyone have a dog with Pancreatic Acinar Atrophy (Lack of digestive enzymes)
My miniature pinscher has been having digestive problems for about three months. Lots of diarrhea, loose stools, and frequent bowel movements (Which has included lots of accidents in her kennel and in the house.
So 2nd vet visit (first time they just treated the diarrhea, which went away but the frequent bowel movements didn't) and the vet is leaning towards an enzyme deficiency.
She's 3 years old. She is currently eating natural balance fish and sweet potato formula.
She has to come back tomorrow for the blood test (due to needing to fast) but everything I'm reading seems to sound just like her. Just curious if anyone has had a dog with this disorder.
