Yeah, so basically, my fianc? and I started to train our two cats to use the toilet when they were about six months old with the Litter Kwitter kit, because we live in a small apartment and we didn't want to have the smell of the litter and to live with the hassle of changing it everyay.
We started the training a year ago but it worked : the cats now pee and poop on the toilet, we just have to flush it! The only thing is that we're still stuck with the last Little Kwitter ring on the toilet : the cats need to see/feel it to use it. If it's not there, the cats just won't go and wait until they can't hold themselves and poop or pee right in front of the toilet.
Has anyone on The Nest ever trained their cat to use the toilet? How did it go for you?
Re: Cats using our human toilet
Please be sure that your municipality is okay with flushing cat waste. Many are, but many are not.
