Vent - driving home in the DARK sucked!

I have such mixed feeling about the daylight savings business.  I love the extra hour in the fall.  Hate loosing it in the spring.  Love longer "light" hours into the evening...makes me feel like I can get more done.  Hate driving home in the dark at 5:30 pm...sort of depressing.

Halloween Friday - sooo tired need to recoup the rest of the weekend - time change - long naps in middle of afternoon, making evenings with the girls a little wacky...what an odd craptastic weekend.

WTH - there's an election going on!!!???  Ha-ha - JUST KIDDING!

Hope everyone has a good & productive week!  Should be an interesting ride!

Re: Vent - driving home in the DARK sucked!

  • When I walked out of work at 5 it was sooo dark, it was scary! I got home and was so lazy due to the darkness... : (

  • I now have another reason to love living in AZ, we don't change our clocks!

  • I HATE driving at night. It was pitch black when I left work last night. YUCK. Not mention I am completely unproductive once I get home. It's like my mind is not capable of doing anything once it's dark. I just want to sit in front of the tv and eat :o)-
  • The time change definitley makes me unproductive. I got home last night and fell asleep on the couch right after dinner...7:00pm!! I didn't wake up until 10pm when DH helped me as I sleepwalked to the bed.
  • I love the season of fall , the feel of the crisp breeze against my face. But with the time change it means that Miss Celeste wakes up at 5 am which means I wake up at 5 am.?
This morning all 4 of us were awake at 5am. The kids running around chasing each other by 530am and Dh and I looking at each other going "If this is a dream don't wake me up yet-its too early."?
The great thing about them waking up early is that we left for the 2 daycares by 830am (usually 930). I get to vote early and have sometime to nest, facebook and hopefully DL some pics for blogging later when I get home.
Then the cycle starts all over again.
    5 am!!!! ugh.?
