Anyone grow pumpkins?
We're having a pumpkin growing contest at work (seriously). No idea what is involved in doing this. Anyone?

We grew them 2 years ago. We bought the kind that weren't going to get huge, and ended up with 2 adorable 5 pounders. Perfect for our 2 kids, but probably not for a contest. I assume the winner will have the biggest pumpkin?
All we did was buy the plants, and put them in the ground. When the fruit grew, we turned it every few days to be sure there weren't flat spots.
Best work contest ever.
No idea how to grow a pumpkin.

BAH!! Awesome work contest! We are currently doing a "who will win The Bachelorette" contest, we had to choose the guy from the photo only, before the first episode. My guy is already out
But, pumkins! That'll be really cool to see everyone's end product!!
