It will be a year since we put our Old home up for sale.

It's crazy to look back and think its been a year. The whole trigger to move was a guy being shot middle of the day catty corner to our home. I will never forget hearinG the gun shoot. And removing milo from his bouncy stand and going upstairs to see the cops lift the dead body into the car. He had on boots and looked so limp.

What a year.

Re: It will be a year since we put our Old home up for sale.

  • Holy crap! Sorry about your home :( It's so discouraging. We just finally closed on our house earlier this week. It was a year and a half before it sold. I don't know how it is up north but down here in FL, things are picking up fast so hopefully soon!
  • Oops. We sold our home after a couple of months. I was just lamenting about selling our old home. I still miss it.
  • I hear you, it is so weird to think we have been out of the city for almost 2 years.  In some ways it feels like a lifetime ago.

I don't really miss it so much.  Except when we were at an event in Franklin Square, I spent so much time there with the kids it made me nostalgic.  Also, it would have been awesome to be able to stay later at the event and just hop in a cab or walk home.
