Master Bath remodel. LIP. Need paint ideas!

Hi D&R ladies!  You all have been a great help with advice in the past when we redid our study.  Now we are re-doing our small master bath. Construction (or demo rather!) starts Monday. We NEED to figure out what color paint we're going to use in there. I just put together a long blog post with all kinds of pictures of some of the products that will be in there.

Any suggestions on what color we should use? I have a few color ideas at the bottom of the post. Thoughts?? TIA!!!  (Our master bedroom is the same lame-o beige color that the bathroom is now, so I'm not worried about clashing with what's in the bedroom. The main color themes in our house are greyish beige, mossy grey green, etc, and the kids rooms are pastels.)

  • We can't tell you this.  Because you know you want an aqua, it's going to come down to undertones.  They can only be figured out when looking at all your materials and paint chips together in the lighting of that bathroom.  It should be pretty obvious when you put everything together.  GL!
  • Thanks. I guess I was just wondering if y'all thought I was on the wrong track with some sort of aqua. Like, if people thought I should really be considering a gold/beige paint, that would be something to think about.

Off to pick up chips and samples today!

I would pull the gray/green/ blue tone out of the accent tile for the walls.  A true aqua would look weird with that granite in my opinion ( need something earthier than pastels).  You have a mix of warm and cool tones.  Whichever you want to dominate is what I would choose that for the walls (warm - tan or a warm green gray, cool more of a bluish gray).
