Looking for casual knit dresses!

Hello!

 

I am dying to stock up on some casual knit dresses, preferably sleeveless, mid-length (knee length or slightly above), with thicker straps or spaghetti straps.  I'd love some in a variety of solid colors that I could dress up with belts and different accessories.  I am an elementary teacher at a school with a VERY casual dress code, and would love to wear these through summer school and the hot school year months, as well as being able to "warm" them up with leggings and cardigans through the fall.  Any suggestions where to look?  I've already looked at Jcrew, Gap, Victorias Secret, American Apparel, and am mostly finding dresses that are too expensive, too fancy, or too low cut.  I'd love any suggestions where to look!

I have this in 3 colors.  The jersey has a nice drape and finish to it - I paired it once with heels and a belted cardigan for a local theater show.  TTS for me.  Grab it now while it's on sale.

Thanks!!  I think I'll check my local Target tomorrow.  I always forget how much I actually like a lot of their clothing items, and they do seem to be of better quality than similarly priced places like Old Navy.

I also have that dress in navy! Love it! I find oasual other casual dresses at Old Navy or Express.

It's only in navy and a stripe in stores - the rest of the colors are online.

For casual wear I think knit dresses are perfectly suits on your personality as your profession is teaching so you really wanna look decent and elegant! My suggestion is you dress up with knit dresses as well as designed T shirts and Spandex Racer back tank top!!
