The bodice was NOT altered. The strap was slightly shortened, as Allure leaves it long to accommodate all sizes. The front of the dress was hemmed, to about 5'7" or 5'8" (I'm 5'4" and wore heels). I had it bustled so that it kept a small sweep train in the back - the bustles are all still intact! Again, no alterations to any part of the bodice.
I did not like the bows on the hip, and they were only lightly tacked on, so I removed it. The beading on the bows is an applique, so I removed it (again only just tacked) and placed it where the bow was. I can have the bow and applique sewn back in place for you if you would like.
No major stains or damage. Professionally cleaned. I wore it for my evening wedding and reception only. The bottom and underside of the sweep train were only dusty before cleaning, but no food/drink was spilled and it is in great condition.
