We took your recommendation and booked our vacation for Ocean City, NJ!! Your statement about the distance from boardwalk to the water really made the difference. Thinking back to being a kid in Wildwood I remember the length of that walk being so long!!! I'd prefer a shorter walk when carrying all of our stuff AND a toddler!!
We are staying at the Biscayne Suites.. Are you familiar with that place?
Also, if you have any suggestions of things we must do or places we should eat let me know!!

I am not familiar with the Biscayne Suites, but there are a lot of really nice hotels there and I am sure it is one of them.
Aside from hanging out on the beach, the boardwalk has always been our main form of entertainment when we are there. There is a cute little area with little kid rides and a few different places to go mini golfing.
You should also check out the Christmas Shop on the boardwalk. I am obsessed with buying Christmas ornaments wherever we go, and this store always has the absolute best ones!
