I need some creative eyes. This wood stove right in the middle of the wall is killing me! I would like to remove it but since that isn't an option, I need ideas on how to arrange/decorate around it. Anyone??
I have move the couches and tv all the time trying to make it look right. Never have had motivation to get stuff up on the walls = (

These are a couple of my lame attempts at it....
Re: Help my poor living room
You're on the right track!
You know how you've posted 3 attempts? Take your first attempt but then add substantial bookcases running the length of the wall the stove's on. The reason your previous attempt didn't work is because the bookcases you have right now are too scrawny and can't balance the visual weight of the stove. Big heavy bookcases can.

Thinking of doing cosmetic updates to a dated home? These were our costs.
Maybe it's time for a thinner tv so I can fit it in with the shelving! ; )
Thanks everyone!
