Grey skirt, need top ideas

I bought a grey casual (t-shirt) material skit today at Gap, and need help on what to wear on top.  What is a good color (other than black or white), that looks great with grey?

I know grey is a neutral, but I don't think every color looks good with it.

I think pretty much anything goes with gray, but I'd try yellow, bright pink or navy.

First color that came to my mind is yellow, any shade.  Pink is good too.

What shade of grey? Like normal t-shirt colored grey? Or a darker, charcoal grey?

 

With a lighter grey I like bold, but deep colors. Maybe a navy, deep teal, raspberry, mustard, etc. I think you need a more "saturated" color, because "light grey" can seem almost washed-out.

With a darker, charcoal, grey, I'd treat it more like a dark denim. Light or dark colors would easily be great. Obviously a neon would be really trendy, but that's not really my scene. You really can't go wrong.

I think purple, bright blue, bright green, and the neon colors all look good with grey.

I think coral looks great with gray. I just painted our guest bathroom gray. We have a coral and white chevron shower curtain with a gray monogram. It's gorgeous!
