Hey Ladies! Ive been on the nest for a while but usually just hang on my local board. My anniv board moved to a private site. Thought I might pop in here as DH and I are quite a few years from having a BOTB.
So alittle bit about me- We've been married 2 years but dating for almost 12. We are both 28. We have a cat and are in the process of getting a puppy. We own a house in upstate NY.
Anything else you want to know ?

I'm also in Upstate NY (Syracuse area). Hubby and I aren't having kids and have taken actions to make sure of it. We love our neices, but he helped raise his much younger siblings and doesn't want to do it again. I'm not a huge child person. I don't have a ton of patience. (But I'm not cold - my neices love to spend time at our house.) I'm not new to the site but new to the boards. Like reading what other women have to say and know that I'm not alone with most of my concerns. Have a nice evening!

I'm on Orange County NY, not technically upstate. But upstate compared to NYC where everyone thinks you are from if you say NY
DH and I have also discussed just one and can easily see ourselves as just the three of us. The thought of more makes me panic, lol. So we say one day we'll try one and see how it goes. My target age in my head was 30 but since i'm rapidly approaching that number im not quite so sure i'll be ready then. I hate the snarky comments and looks you get if you say you want just one. I wish people would mind their business!

New to it all, I am. I'm from the UK, Scotland. I'm on the run up to celebrating my first wedding anniversary 1 month to go and hopefully haven't embarrassed myself with the gift i am looking to give to my husband.
tradition says paper right?
So my grief just now (after blurting out to my ever broody husband) is that I want to start our family now... i think! but i also want to travel to Australia and possibly live there (circumstances says it'll be really hard work if at all achievable)
I wish for once I could choose and not regret anything but the pro's and con's are equal I feel lost.
Any advice or similar problems, life stories all welcome I'd happily take on anything as i feel i know nothing right now x
