Dresser into buffet? PIP

Right now I'm making over one of these tables...(painting it black)

I also want something like one of these to go in the dining room too..

I found this dresser for $30. Think it would work? Possible put small feet on it or remove the middle doors if possible? Or do you think it would clash with the table or look like a dresser was in my dining room? lol

Re: Dresser into buffet? PIP

  • I think it has potential! I would go for it for $30. I'm kind of jealous though. I've been looking on craigslist for a long dresser in that price range and have not come across a single one.
  • Looks like it may be a bit tall/big for feet or legs.  Nice piece... not sure if the front design will clash or not...  I would definitely spray paint it though. Too many curves to brush.

    Good luck!

  • Ok, I think I'll go for it.

That's funny, I have been looking on craigslist too. I found this on a local yardsale board for my town.

  • i like it and think it will work fine with the table design. personally i would loose the doors, as you suggested you were considering, as all that scrolling and moulding design is a bit much for my taste.
