last year, we did the D-A-D photos using the foam letter playmats and popped out the letters. it was really cute, each girl held a D individually, and then they held A together. I lined up the photos and had it printed on a tee shirt, with a #1 over the left corner and 2011 centered under the pictures. DH wears it all the time.
this year, i think i might order omaha steaks - it's win-win - he likes grilling and it's less food shopping for me - lol!
to pair with it, i designed a custom embroidered hat on vistaprint that says Grate Dad over an image of a grill with grates. Not sure if it's way too hokey or not. I do think he'd like it and wear it, but i'm not sure people will get it - they'll just think great is misspelled - haha!
