Career yay and boo
So after a recent promotion at work, I was just told today I have to travel to HQ once a quarter! Ugh. It is totally for face time and a complete waste of money. Most of my clients I deal with on a daily basis aren't even there! And honestly, I'm good for about 5 minutes of schmoozing and then I'm just a liability to myself.
The good news in all this, besides additional frequent flyer miles? My boss's boss wanted me there once a month initially! Luckily my boss talking him into once a quarter. At least my boss knows me well enough to know that I'd have a fit over once a month.

East Coast so 3.5 hr flight roughly.
