SECONDED! I also have black hair. In my early 20's it was no big deal. A strand here, a strand there. Now it's noticeable. But I have my hair chemically straightened, so I have to pick my battles with hair dye. I can't really color frequently AND get my hair straightened, so I rock my grey! I will dye it before my wedding next year (Those pics are forever), but I give up and plan on going gracefully grey...I think. Don't quote me. I could definitely change my mind. Oh, and I'm 30.
Going grey earlier is fun isn't is??
I've been finding grey's since I was 18, but at 28 they are showing up more frequently, especially along my hair line.
My husband actually noticed it for the first time a few weeks ago. He started staring at my hair and pointed at it like there was fuzz in it or something. I asked him what he was looking at and he giggled and said I had grey hair. I was like YEAH THANKS BABE IT HAPPENS.
I have to get my hair colored every 8 weeks. I usually do a gloss or cream (as opposed to permanent color) at a salon so I don't damage my hair too much and it unfortunately starts to fade around week 5-6. I've started trying to use higher end shampoos and conditions though to try to fight the fading.
So at this point you either need to just embrace it or dye it IMO. Some women have pretty grey hair, but mine is pretty ashy and looks gross. I don't think I want to go grey naturally.
