s/o 50 shades
If I see one more someecard that someone "likes" on facebook about 50 shades, I'm going to scream.
I read the books. They were god awful. But I'm one that if I start something, I have to finish it. So I read the whole series.

one of my husband's coworkers was like you should get your wife to read it, it makes "good things happen". my husband responded eh she isn't the type. and by she isn't the type meaning someone who needs fanfiction in their life. he already knows i'm slutty.
When we were in MD last week, we were in a bookstore and they had them on the counter. DH was like oh, I heard these are popular, what are they about? Since there were kids around, I just said they were grown up books and gave him a look. Bless his heart, he is clueless. I actually thumbbed through one of them and other than the "details", I don't see what the fuss is about. I may read them though just out of curiosity.

Not going to read them. I'm not one for popular fiction. I have never read the following: 50 shades, hunger games, harry potter.
Give me a non-fiction book or a memoir, and I'm much more likely to enjoy them. I guess it's my inner nerd.
i didn't get through much of the first book before i was ready to gauge my own eyes out...i had dinner with a friend (who i know reads a lot like i do) friday night, and i brought it up and she thought they were trash too (thankfully, i may have had to end the friendship if she really liked them
