Cleaner for light colored leather purse
I have the Rebecca Minkoff Nikki hobo in Dove which is a light grey. Love it but it is getting dirty. What is the best way to clean it?

Re: Cleaner for light colored leather purse
People like Apple Guard products but this one is my favorite, it's recommended for Balenciaga, etc so I figure it's good for RM too.

Make sure you know the type of finish on your leather before you use any leather products; some products will darken the finish if the leather is a natural leather, unfinished. The best way to avoid dye transfer is to be cautious of what colors you wear with lighter colored leathers (and vice versa). Dye transfer is one of the most common stains especially on handbags. Many times the only way of "cleaning" is to refinish the leather - essentially painting the leather with a color most similar to the original (Only a leather specialist should be doing this).
