wipes?

i use to use feminine wipes until my friend said they were bad. i liked using them after sex or during my period cuz i felt cleaner. is it ok to use them? and are baby wipes basically the same thing?  they seem cheaper.

Re: wipes?

  • I typically use baby wipes. I haven't had any issues i.e. no funny discharge or infections. I have used feminine wipes when I've found them on sale. If you haven't had any issues I would continue to use them.

  • I use baby wipes as well...so does my boyfriend. Even better when there on sale! I've never had an issue. HTH!
  • It's douching that's not healthy for your vagina. As long as you're not trying to wash inside it and not wiping the wrong direction, you should be fine.
  • I use the flushable wipes, because baby wipes can clog up the sewer/septic.

Douching is not healthy, but the wipes are fine.

    Anniversary
  • I use baby wipes, especially when I'm on my period.  They work the same.

  • I use baby wipes (unscented, sensitive skin).  If they're good enough for a baby, they're good enough for me.
