Willamette Valley Wine Country
Not sure if anyone is on this board anymore but let's see...
I travel regularly to Salem for business from Seattle. On one of my upcoming trips I plan on driving down with my fiance on Friday night so that we can spend the weekend touring some of the wineries in the Willamette Valley.
Does anyone have suggestions for their favorite wineries (i.e. best views, best wine, etc)? We are likely going to be there the first weekend of August and from what I understand not all of the wineries are open to the public and some require appointments.
Before I drive to Salem for work that Monday, I was planning on basing ourselves from McMinnville on Friday and Saturday night.
If anyone has any tips or suggestions please let me know!
