Breast Ruduction on Tuesday!

Well it's been in the making a while and it's finally happening on Tuesday! If you've had this done I'd love ANY suggestions you may have. Such as how long it took to get back into normal day to day things. Such as showering, moving around, driving, sex, etc. I was even curious about things I may need or things you didn't think you'd need and wish you had. I've asked my doctor most of the basic questions but nothings better than someone who's actually had it done. Thanks Ladies! :)

  • I haven't had one done, but I'm planning to after having kids. So, I'm eager to hear what others have to say. Good luck with your surgery!

  • I hope it went well. I had it done 10 years ago and it was the best thing I ever did for myself. For me it wasn't a hard surgery/recovery. You're going to love shopping for tops now!
  • I had one two years ago.  The dr made it seem like I would be back in a couple of weeks not so.  For the first 3-4 days my hubby took care of me 24/7. It was painful but I would do it over again. Make sure u get a bra that snaps in the front and comes over your incisions.  I ended paying like 68.00 for mine. It was one of those bras that was on the Oprah show.  I waited until after my surgery to find mine big no. I would recommend you use ace bandages and bra.  Just be prepared to take it easy for a while. If you can freeze food go ahead do it. If u can get the kid to stay with friends and family even better.
