As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Hello!
I posted on here a few months ago about moving to Yukon and asking for some advice on getting my certification transferred -- but that was a long time ago. Anyway, H and I are finally settling in to our new home and I wanted to introduce myself!
We got married last November, but this is actually the first time we've lived together since then. Right after our wedding, H's new job shipped him out to Pampa, TX (in the panhandle/middle of nowhere). Since I teach, I wanted to finish the school year before I moved instead of leaving in December. It ended up being a blessing in disguise, because since I wasn't there, we hadn't bought a house. That meant when they called up H and said they wanted him to move to OK, it was no problem (they said later they wouldn't have moved us if we had a house, because they would've had to buy it). So, after seven months of marriage we finally live together!
We have two furbabies, no humanbabies yet, but we're hoping to start soon. We just bought our first house, so we're learning the ups and downs of owning new construction, but so far it has been great!
I've lurked a bit on this board, and y'all seem really great -- I'm looking forward to chatting with you!
