Re: Poll: Voting
I said, "There was no line."
I think I stood there for about 15 seconds while waiting for one person in front of me to sign in. lol
Less than 30 minutes. When I got there the line was out to the road but it moved fairly quickly. So I was out of there in 25 mins.
Blog!
There was a HUGE line when I went to the polling place this morning, but I went back around 12:45 and did not have to wait at all.
Already 2.6 million facebook users have voted. WOW!
They only had one place to vote in all of the entire Moody/Odenville area!!! I just can't believe they closed all the voting precincts but one!! There are even people who live in Leeds having to vote in the same place....grr!!! I got off work at 0730 this am...and drove there. I finally found a place to park....then had to walk a mile to get to the back of the line! From the time I took my place in line...until I got up to the door of the building...it was just over 2 hours!!!!! Needless to say I was a little upset at the poor planning....or complete lack of planning....from my part of the county! My hubby went after school....he even stayed after to grade some tests so that maybe the lines would have time to have died down....but he was in line for just over an hour and a half....and finally had to pee so bad that he just gave up and came home
When I work night shift I am usually home and back in the bed well before 9am. Today because of all the voting mess in St. Clair Co.....I did not get back home and to bed until after lunch!!! It is going to make for a very tired night at work
