Not sure if you get on here as often as TK but I knew you and your husband went to the same place for your honeymoon as me and my husband are going! We arent going until October though. I was gonna see if you could share any honeymoon pix you took while you were there! I'm excited to see and hear about that resort!

I have a few pics from our HM on my bio (I also went to the Royal Bahamian!) I haven't downloaded all the pics from my camera yet, but I'm hoping to do it this week. The resort is AMAZING! The first thing you'll want to do when you get there is make reservations for dinner at the places that require it! We waited until the second day that we were there, and we could only get into one place! All of the food is amazing, though!
We were a little disappointed in the actual service we received; the hostess and waitresses were VERY slow. We did see several training groups walking around the resort, so I think the issue was new employees (May is considered off-season for the Bahamas). One of my BM went there in October for her HM, and she didn't have any of these issues.. so I'm sure you'll be fine!
You should absolutely go to the offshore island! It's much more private, so we had a blast just goofing off in the ocean! We also snorkled one day, and we LOVED it! We took the bus into downtown a couple of times, and we really enjoyed walking around the area and had fun at the Straw Market! We also took a ferry from downtown to Paradise Island, which is where Atlantis is. We didn't really plan in advance, so we didn't go into the aquarium or the water park. We enjoyed walking around and the casino! But, we were ready to get back to the no-kids resort afterwords!!
Make sure you try everything when you're there! You'll have an amazing time!
