WWYD? Drawer pulls

I'm refinishing this dresser, painting it a robin's egg blue for the nursery. I'm thinking either cup pulls or crystal nobs. Here's the deal, the dresser has a TON of knob places. Where would you put knobs/pulls? And which would you use..crystal nobs or cup pulls?

Here's the dresser before I started to refinish it...

Re: WWYD? Drawer pulls

  • Tough without mocking it up, but maybe just the center on the top drawers and align the door handles to the top with that? Then the outer top two on the middle and lower drawers?

Maybe that's too mish-mashed? I'd take them all off and then mock it up in place, even just with painters tape as fake pulls.

  • holy knob hell. Good luck with that. PLEASE she us when you refinish it. I would love to see it made over!
  • I would use cup pulls on the lower drawers but simples knobs on the upper.  I would coordinate the knob color with the cup pulls (i.e matte silver knobs with matte silver cup pulls ORB knobs with ORB cup pulls).
  • nob overload!

I would do one nob on each upper drawer, just the center one on each. I'm a fan of the crystal. Something wider, but coordinating with the metal base of the crystal nobs on the bottom two. One centered on each. That's what I would do.

  • I would stick with the knob and handles layout you have. I really like the amount of knobs on show, it gives a very oldy wordy look, quite British and quirky.

abodent.com have a great selection of knobs for some inspiration.
