*minor photographer vent*
Let me caveat this by saying that I LOVED our photographer - he was easy going, creative and very professional and he and his wife did a great job taking photos throughout the day and even helped in keeping the reception moving along. About a week after the wedding, I sent him an email saying thanks for everything, that I was planning to write them a rave review on TK and I was so excited to see the pics etc. No response. (That was more than a week ago and usually he would respond to my emails within a day or 2 at the latest). I then sent another email on Sunday to ask if we could get a few of the pictures (20 or so) by June 23rd so we can show them to DH's parents' friends and family (his parents are hosting a little cocktail party for us for those people who could not travel to the US for our wedding (we live in Switzerland)). No response yet to that email either.
Ok, so now we are 2.5 weeks after the wedding and I haven't seen any sneak peeks or anything. This is not a huge deal and I know they are busy now that summer is here. BUT, I *just happened* to visit their website today and noted that they have posted the online proofs for the wedding which was the day before ours (ok, fair enough), but then also for 3 (!!) weddings which took place AFTER ours - including one which was 4 days ago.
I find this really weird and am almost afraid to call because maybe this means there is a problem with our pictures? Yikes.

That is wierd, and honestly I'd be a little worried too. There is probably a perfectly reasonable explanation though. Does it say anywhere in the contract or in correspondence how long he has to get them to you?
Give him a day or two and then call. Good luck and keep us posted.

Ok - I just got an email from him that he hopes to have everything online for me my Monday. Turns out there has been terrible weather in his area and they had power outages 3 times in the last 4 days. *so relieved!*

I had the same concern that you mentioned about there being a problem with our pictures. We got a sneak peak of 30 or so and then nothing for weeks. I could see on her Facebook page that she had other things going up, so I was worried. We finally got the rest of them though and everything is fine.

I would be a little concerned, but then again we went 5 weeks with no sneak peak or anything from our photographer, but then again I emailed her asking when we would be getting our photos and she emailed me back the next morning and had posted a sneak peak.
I would just call and ask what's going on.
I would have been concerned as well. Now you know why he didn't email you either. Our wedding pics are on a cd and ready I just haven't got them yet...
