I'm recently remarried and in my 30's with 2 kids and, hopefully one day, a possibility of another, although we're not planning on trying for a bit. We're both geeks and our kids are little geeks in training, hence the name. I don't have much drama going on and life is pretty good.
I just thought I'd say hello and introduce myself rather than lurking a bit and then starting to post.
Re: Noob here. :)
Dude, dont call newbs "meat"! Now you gonna scare her aways, especially with your shark eating manatee in siggy. Fer serius yo.
Hi sweetie. Welcome. In a way, we are all new here.
Hiiii! I'm new here too.
Do you like to cook? Do you have any good recipes to share?
Love to cook...have a ton of recipes. We eat vegan and vegetarian during the week and eat meat on the weekends. I'm not really sure what that makes us besides unpopular dinner guests during the week and gluttons on the weekends.
Wait...the manatee is eating the shark? I thought it was just inter-species lovin'...for realz!
Hmm... that's interesting that you eat vegan/vegetarian during the week and meat on the weekends.
I want to incorporate a meat free day for us.
Our grocery bills got cheaper and we started eating a lot more veggies. It was kind of a compromise since I was essentially a vegetarian only eating some fish now and then when we met and he was pretty much a rabid carnivore. This way, he always knows it's only a few more days until he gets his meat-fest and I get to know we're eating healthier the majority of the week. Plus, this way, when I do cook meat, I spring for something a little more special.
A lot of our friends find it strange, but it's been working for us for about a year now.
The shark is having a bad day, sharks always get the bad press. The manatee is just offering a friendly embrace. I'm the awkward lingering hugging manatee. ((hugs))
Hi. Nice to have you here. I have technically been on TN for a year now, but I bounce in and out at random, on different boards, and when I am in need of entertainment, I like to stir the hornet's nest over on TK boards.
BTW - I LOVE the manatee pic - I think manatees are awesome!
